ELLINWOOD, Kan. – Ellinwood Public Schools announced via social media that their Ellinwood Athletic/Activities Dept. Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, Aug. 17.
The tournament is a fundraiser as all proceeds go to the Ellinwood Athletic/Activities Department to help their student-athletes. It’s also a chance for golfers to win prizes and bragging rights.
It’s a 3-man scramble tournament, which costs $150 per team. Mulligans are $5 each, but every player is only limited to two mulligans. The tournament will be flighted with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each flight. There will also be hole prizes, which include longest putt, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
The tournament will be held at Grove Park Golf Course in Ellinwood. Check-in will be at 12:00 p.m. and the Shotgun Start is at 1:00 p.m.
