WICHITA, Kan. (SCWarriors.com) — Ryan Sandoval of No. 16 Kansas Wesleyan University and Andrew Dutro of Sterling College have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from February 12-18 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Dutro had a great week for Sterling. Defensively, he robbed what would have been a two-run home run against Central Christian, then knocked in two runs on a base-clearing triple. He led the team in hits, triples, HRs, batting average, Slugging %, and OBP, and was 2nd in runs scored and RBIs. Dutro was a big part in Sterling going 4-0 on the week.
