HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The top three teams remained the same atop the NJCAA Division I Football Rankings on Monday.
The Hutchinson Community College football team stayed No. 1 for the 10th-consecutive week after Saturday’s 13-0 victory at Highland.
Hutchinson, Iowa Western and Kilgore remained Nos 1, 2 and 3 this week. Snow College moved into No. 4 and Copiah-Lincoln moved into No. 5 this week.
For the ninth-straight poll, the Blue Dragons received 9 of 10 first-place votes with Iowa Western garnering the other first-place vote.
Hutchinson has now been ranked in 29 consecutive polls.
Only two Jayhawk Conference teams remain in the Top 15 of the NJCAA Rankings. Dodge City moved up one spot to No. 9. Butler and Highland are both receiving votes.
The Blue Dragons travel to Independence on Saturday with an opportunity to clinch the Jayhawk Conference championship.
