DODGE CITY, Kan. – The West All-Stars won a windy Kansas Shrine Bowl 26-8 in Dodge City Saturday.

The East led at halftime 8-7 as they looked to get their 2nd straight win. The West had a strong third quarter thanks to a pair of QB Sneaks and a pick-six. One of those sneaks were by Cheney’s Josh Burdick, who would end up being named the West Team MVP.

The game closed off the week-long festivities of the 52nd Kansas Shrine Bowl, benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children. According to their website, the Kansas Shrine Bowl has sent nearly $4 million in donations in its history.

The win for the West team was their 32nd in the series dating back to 1974. The games and festivities will move to Emporia for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 Shrine Bowls.
