McPHERSON, Kan. — The Central Christian College of Kansas Athletic Director, Kyle Moody, is pleased to announce the hiring of Josh Dalton for athletic department’s vacant athletic trainer position. Josh is a 2018 graduate of Central Christian College, returning to his alma mater upon completion of his Master’s of Athletic Training from Shenandoah University (Va.), this past spring. As part of his Master’s curriculum Josh received valuable work experience this past school year working a pair of practicums with McPherson College, and Newton Unified School District 371.

“The opportunity to work within athletics at Central Christian is a blessing,” said Dalton. “The college has been a good home and community to me, so to be able to give back and apply my expertise is wonderful. I look forward to providing quality medical care to the student athletes and seeing them compete.” He added, “I hope my time here is filled with success and progress, ultimately pointing back to Jesus. Go Tigers!”

AD Moody said of Dalton’s hire, “We are excited that Josh is returning to the Central family, to work with our student-athletes! We welcome his expertise as an athletic trainer and his understanding of who we are at Central!”

Josh is married to his wife Rachel, who is currently on the Central athletic staff as an assistant coach for the Tiger women’s soccer team. They reside in McPherson with their son James.
