KSHSAA Regional Golf finished for area teams on Tuesday. The highlight of the day saw Central Christian claim the 1A Regional Championship at Hesston, hosted by Goessel. The Cougars finished with a team score of 331, 56 strokes better than second place St. John, which also qualified their full team for state. Cael Kooiman of Central Christian won the individual title with a 77, three strokes ahead of Ry Kooiman in second. A full look at area state qualifiers can be found in the results below. The 1A State Tournament will take place at Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City on May 27 and 28.
Other area golfers qualified for state in 3A and 5A as well, highlighted by Great Bend qualifying their full team for the 5A State Tournament.
