McPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson High School Basketball began the 2026 calendar year in the McPherson Roundhouse following its re-opening, sweeping the Augusta Orioles in the varsity girls and boys matchups.
The Roundhouse was out of commission for 203 days following flood damage to the court and the underlying concrete during the summer of 2025, forcing rescheduling and site changes for the entire Volleyball season and the first semester of Basketball. The floor was repaired just before the MHS students returned from Winter Break on Monday, Jan. 5.
