HUTCHINSON, Kan. – McPherson High School Volleyball’s strong season came to an end in pool play of the State Championships on Friday, Oct. 31 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
McPherson entered as the No. 3 seed in the eight-team championships. They started pool play against Topeka-Hayden, falling 2-0. The Bullpups kept their season alive in the second match, defeating Buhler 2-1 in a three-set thriller. However, they fell to Clay Center 2-1, keeping them outside of the top two in their pool.
Andale would end up winning the 4A State Title.
