McPHERSON, Kan . – The McPherson High School Track & Field teams headed to Pratt for the Pratt Invitational Friday, April 6, with both the girls and boys having a successful finish.
Remarks from head coach John Montgomery:
[Friday] night the Varsity Track team competed at the Pratt High School Invitational. There were nine teams that competed at the track meet. Our Girls team was able to come away with 1st place overall, and our Boys team was able to come away with 2nd place overall. I was incredibly proud of how they competed in all areas of the track meet. We challenged many of the athletes to try new events this week, and it was great to see them embrace the challenge and have success doing so. We had countless PRs (personal records) and season bests. I look forward to seeing everyone continue to improve over the course of the season. The Top 6 finishers in each event were awarded medals and team points.
