McPherson High School’s Spring Sports are in full swing. This past week saw strong performances from the school’s Boys Tennis, Girls Swimming, and Track & Field teams.
BOYS TENNIS
The McPherson High School Boys Tennis team won the Conway Springs Varsity Meet on Thursday, April 2. Cooper Bohme won the #1 Singles bracket, while Aaron Winter placed 3rd. Bradon Holm finished 3rd in the #2 Singles. Jack Boese/Kepple Butcher were the #1 Doubles Runners-Up, while Hayden Siemens/Parker Riemann won the #2 Doubles tournament.
TRACK & FIELD
Following the season-opening invitational at Emporia State, McPherson hosted the McPherson Early Season Track & Field Meet. There were no team scores due to unlimited entries. McPherson was joined by Hesston, Smoky Valley, and Wamego.

GIRLS SWIMMING
The Girls Swimming team took part in the Wichita Heights meet on Friday, April 3. The team finished 7th out of 19 schools.
The team had three State Consideration times, as Adyson Wiens earned consideration times in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle. Ella Schrag earned a consideration in the 100 Butterfly.
