PRATT, Kan. – The McPherson High School Scholars Bowl team is headed to State after placing 3rd in the Pratt Regional on Thursday, Feb. 5.
The team went 6-2 during pool play, ending with a score difference of +175. Their lone losses in the pool were to Pratt and Augusta, but they earned a stellar win over Clay Center, giving them their only loss in pool play.
McPherson then went 3-2 in Finals, falling to Buhler and Pratt, who both also qualified for State. Their final margin was -15, but their wins saw a combined margin of +45.
The 4A State Championship will be held at Winfield High School on Saturday, Feb. 14.
