Bullpup Girls Soccer Earns Big Win Over Wichita-Trinity 4-2

McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson High School Girls Soccer team traveled to face Wichita-Trinity Tuesday, May 7, getting a big road win 4-2.

Brody Kuhn scored a goal off of a corner kick just two minutes into the match to open up the scoring for the Bullpups. Trinity would tie the game up soon after with a penalty kick, but McPherson answered back quickly with a Becca Lulloff goal to make it 2-1 at halftime.

Kenna Dale led off the second half with a header, scoring the Pups’ 3rd goal. Trinity scored their second goal soon after to make it 3-2, but Lulloff would score her second goal of the match making it 4-2 McPherson, cruising to the win.

“This was such an important win for the girls,” head coach Chris Adrian said. “I wouldn’t say it was the best performance of the season, but the girls displayed perseverance and didn’t let setbacks get them down.”

The team is now 9-5-1 on the season with one final game left in the regular season at Salina-South Friday, May 10.
