EL DORADO, Kan. – McPherson High School’s Cross Country teams took a road trip to El Dorado for their final regular season meet on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Boys team placed 2nd in the meet, led by Caleb Muehler’s individual win with a time of 15:58. Four other varsity runners medaled as well, including Kayden Friesen (9th), Jonas Emery (17th), Nathan Friesen (20th), and Tripp Pelzel (22nd). Two Boys JV runners, Charlie Unruh and Maxton Nelson, also medaled.
The Bullpup Varsity Girls team finished 5th, led by Adeline Kramer’s 8th place finish. Two other girls runners medaled, including Reesa Whorton (13th), and Eliza Jex (19th).
The Bullpups will now prepare for the league meet on Thursday, Oct. 16.
