DERBY, Kan. – McPherson High School Basketball traveled to Derby on Tuesday, Dec. 9, for an AVCTL cross-divisional matchup, but Derby defeated the Bullpup Girls and Boys.

On the flip side, McPherson’s younger core of the roster had key possessions on offense and defense, led by 12 points from junior Piper Alvord and eight points by sophomore Amarie Lowery.
