Bullpup Baseball Escapes Buhler 4-3, Sweeping the Crusaders

BUHLER, Kan. – The McPherson Bullpups defeated Buhler 4-3 Thursday, April 4, completing a season sweep of the rival Crusaders.

The Bullpups started hot, scoring 4 runs in the top of the 1st inning on 3 hits and a defensive error. These four runs would be the only runs they would score in the game. Ian Razak got the starting nod on the mound and had a strong start to the game.

Buhler would then have a hot third inning, scoring 3 runs on 4 hits. Both teams would go then go scoreless through the rest of the game, with a key save by Owen Fetsch, leaving the represented tying run on base.
