McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — After an exceptional year in the classroom, the MC women’s track team has been named the All-Academic team by the USTFCCA for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The team finished in the top 30 in the national rankings with the team’s collective GPA averaging out to a 3.39 for the year. The team will be returning seven members from last year in the 2024 season.
In addition to the team achievement, junior Cara Shultz was named an academic all-American after achieving a perfect 4.0 during ’23-’24 academic year. The achievement is added to a successful year in athletics for Shultz, who finished 2nd in the KCAC in both the shot put and discus events.
