Bulldogs Women’s Tennis Team Advances to KCAC Semifinal

SALINA, Kan. (macbulldogs.com) — The McPherson College Bulldogs women’s tennis team took care of business on Wednesday (Apr. 26), beating Evangel University 4-0 in the quarterfinals of the KCAC tournament at the Genesis Health Club in Salina, Kan.

The Bulldogs won the doubles point thanks to a pair of convincing victories by Camila Sanchez and Vanessa Hofer, and Kayla Ortiz and Maddie Dobson.

Grace Maxey kept the day going, cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 win in #2 singles, then Hofer gave the Bulldogs a 3-0 advantage with a 6-4, 6-2 win. Sanchez wrapped up the win, knocking off Abigail Chaney 6-3, 7-5.
