McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — The McPherson College Bulldogs dropped their KCAC opener Wednesday (Sep. 18) to the Tabor College Bluejays 5-0 at McPherson Stadium, home of Paul Family Field.
The Bluejays wasted no time putting points on the board, scoring in the 10th minute on a goal by Raegan King. April Ochoa pushed that lead to 2-0, 15 minutes later, then King added another with just over five minutes to play in the opening frame.
King would complete her hat trick with an unassisted goal in the 69th minute, the Bluejays tacked on one more with just 15 minutes to play.
The Bulldogs were held to just three shots, all of which were on-goal, led by Caitlin Buendia with two. Elizabeth Scheuerman made four saves in the loss.
MC will remain at McPherson Stadium Saturday (Sep. 21), playing host to Avila University. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
