Bulldogs Men’s Track and Field Competes At Colorado Invitational

BOULDER, Colo. (MacBulldogs.com) – The McPherson College men’s track and field team competed at the Colorado Invitational this weekend.

The Bulldogs had a pair of top-10 finishes in the 60m hurdles. Rinaldo Moore earned the silver medal with a time of 7.99 while Kenjuan Hampton turned in a time of 8.74 for seventh place. In the 60m, Kobe Brown notched a sixth-place effort after crossing the finish line in 6.99. Matthew Williams posted a 10th-place finish with a time of 7.09 while Nicolas Tornay was 16th with a time of 7.13.

Moore garnered a 14th-place finish in the 400m after crossing in 59.62. Brown turned in a 10th-place finish in the 200m. He posted a time of 22.13. Nicolas Tornay (22.54) was 20th while Hampton (22.61) was 23rd, respectively.

In the field events, Brown earned a silver medal in the long jump with his solid effort of 6.41m. Tornay earned a fifth-place finish with a mark of 6.18m. Kamden Tackett accounted for a 10th-place effort in the shot put after posting a mark of 11.51m. Daniel Benson notched a 15th-place finish with a mark of 8.54m. Lamar Gordon turned in a sixth-place effort in the weight throw. He registered a mark of 16.00m.

The Bulldogs return to action Feb. 6-8 at a meet hosted by Northwest Missouri State University.
