Buhler volleyball hosted its first home triangular of the season on Tuesday at Jim Baker Fieldhouse, earning a split against Circle and Winfield.
The Crusaders started strong against Circle, edging out the Thunderbirds in a tight first set, 27-25. However, they were unable to maintain momentum, falling in the next two sets, 17-25 and 8-25.
Buhler bounced back in dominant fashion against Winfield, cruising to a straight-set victory, 25-13, 25-12.
The Crusaders now have a week off before heading to McPherson for another triangular on September 9.
