BUHLER, Kan. – Buhler tennis opened the varsity season Tuesday with a clean sweep at its home quad. All four entries combined to go 12-0 on the day.

GOLF
It’s been a busy start to the year for Buhler golf.
JV hosted its home invitational Tuesday at Hesston Golf Course. Goddard-Eisenhower won the tournament with a 319. Buhler’s 398 put them seventh in the final standings. Individually, Trevor Tustian shot a 94 to place in 20th.
Varsity was fifth out of 11 teams Thursday at the McPherson Invitational. Buhler shot a 342. Derby won the tournament with a 299.
Drew DeMeyer led the way for the Crusaders, medaling in fifth with a 78.

SWIMMING
Buhler swimming and diving was last in the pool on March 26th at Hutchinson. The team earned a solid second place finish. Aivlynn Emke paced the way, winning the 100 free and placing third in the 50 Free. Emke also contributed to two top five relay times.

SOCCER
Buhler soccer grabbed two more wins Thursday night at Circle.
JV won 3-1 behind a pair of goals from Zoey Gregg, both assisted by Mili Burrola.

Buhler is in the middle of an eight-game stretch away from Crusader Stadium. The teams next travel to Winfield on April 9th.
TRACK & FIELD
It was a stelar day Thursday for Buhler track and field at Concordia. The Crusaders recorded 11 first place finishes and 36 top-five efforts.
The girls swept the top two spots in the 200 meters with Lillie Ledford and Jenna Lackey placing first and second.
It was a 1-2-3 finish for the boys in the 3200 meters where Layne Whisler, Kaden Lohrentz, and Gavin Lindahl grabbed the top three spots.
