The Buhler Crusaders junior varsity golf team captured first place in the Pretty Prairie Varsity Girls Invitational Tuesday at the par-72 Pretty Prairie Links.
The team consisted of senior Brylee Belt, freshman Olivia Hall, freshman Meadow Schlatter and freshman Berkley Erickson.
Buhler posted a 488 score — 30 strokes better than second-place Cheney at 518. Medicine Lodge place third at 542 and Kingman was fourth at 558.
Hall and Moore placed fourth and fifth at 114 and 115. Belt was 12th, 127; Erickson, 14th, 132; and Schlatter, 16th, 133.
Pretty Prairie golfers Lyndsey Hoyt, Jewelynn Reese and Hallie Deel placed first, second and sixth with scores of 101, 108 and 118.
Nickerson golfer Aubree Nikkel finished seventh with a 119 score.
Another Buhler JV team participated in the Hutchinson JV Scramble Tuesday at Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson.
The Buhler team consisted of freshman Aria Rhodenbaugh, freshman Bristol Robbins, freshman Swayze Redman, freshman Bralyn McFarland, freshman Frankie Baldwin and sophomore Zoe Swan.
