Buhler golf finished third at Tuesday’s AVCTL Division III & IV Tournament at Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney. Due to weather conditions, the event was shortened from 18 holes to nine.

Buhler posted a solid 170, behind McPherson and Wellington — familiar rivals who have traded top finishes all season long.
Among Division III golfers, Paityn Weber recorded her best round as a Crusader, earning fourth-place honors with a 39. Teammate Anika Paulsrud finished sixth.

Next up, Buhler will host the Class 4A Sub-State Tournament on October 13 at Hesston Golf Course. The Crusaders will see McPherson again in the 10-team field, while Wellington will compete at the Chanute Sub-State.
