The Buhler High School girls golf team placed fourth in the Class 4A girls state preview Thursday at the par-71 Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson.
Wamego won the team title with a 329 score, followed by Wellington 334, McPherson 347, Buhler 370, Augusta 377, Chanute 393, Hesston 400, Eudora 401, Concordia 402, Winfield 403, Rock Creek 407, Independence 415, Andale 422, Rose Hill 446 and Pratt 449.
Anika Paulsrud, a Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School sophomore who plays golf for Buhler, tied with McPherson’s Brodie Kuhn for second place with a 79 score.
Wamego’s Addison Douglass placed first with a 3-under par 68.
Buhler’s Macy Miller placed 31st with 95 score, followed by Paityn Weber and Harlie Terrell, tied for 37th, 98; Addison Specht, tied 45th, 100; and Gracin Bergmeier, tied 75th, 115.
