The Buhler High School girls golf team placed third at the Andale Invitational Monday with a 344 score and sixth at the Cheney Invitational on Tuesday with a 428 score.
Both tournaments were played at the par-72 Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney.
Buhler sophomore Anika Paulsrud, who attends Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School, placed third at the Andale Invitational with 2-over-par score of 74.
Paulsrud was first at the Nickerson Invitational on Thursday and placed fourth at the Buhler Invitational on the Hesston Golf Course on Friday.
Buhler sophomore Addison Specht placed 17th at the Andale meet with an 88, followed by sophomore Paityn Weber, 18th, 88; freshman Gabriella Gillespie, 22nd, 81; senior Harlie Terrell, 30th, 94; and junior Macy Miller, 32nd, 94.
Wellington won the team title at the Andale Invitational with a 318 score, followed by Andover 321 and McPherson 338.
Augusta was fifth with a 352 score, followed by Cheney 383, Andale 399, Arkansas City 418, Kingman 430, Towanda-Circle 432 and Mulvane 475.
Wellington’s Claire Ginter and Regan Dusenberry both shot 73s, with Ginter winning a playoff for the first-place medal.
Cheney placed nine golfers in the top 24 and won the Cheney Invitational title with a 375 score.
Hesston placed second with 376, followed by Andale 389 and Rock Creek 396. Kingman placed sixth at 456, followed by Mulvane 475 and Garden Plain 507.
Buhler juniors Ellie Goering and Grace Schmidt paced the Crusaders Tuesday at the Cheney tournament with 103 scores. They placed 19th and 21st.
Junior Kylie Gregg placed 23rd with a 104 score, followed by junior Niah Dilbeck, 31st, 110; senior Gracin Bergmeier, 32nd, 111; Jessa Losew, 35th, 114; and junior Ashlyn Bounds, 40th, 117.
Losew is a senior at Hutchinson Central Christian High School, where she excels at track.
Hesston’s Maci Kramer claimed first-place medalist honors at the Cheney tournament with an 85. Teammate Elizabeth Horsford placed with an 87. Cheney’s Raegan Black placed third with a 91.
The Crusaders will compete at the Hutchinson Invitational on Thursday at the Carey Park Golf Course.
