The Buhler girls and boys basketball varsity teams split contests with Mulvane Friday night at Mulvane.
The Buhler boys won 58-44 and the Buhler girls lost 54-48.
In the varsity boys game, Buhler (10-7) led 19-8 after one quarter, 31-19 at halftime and 44-34 after three quarters. Buhler outscored Mulvane 14-10 in the fourth quarter.
Buhler placed four players in double figures, led by Luke Holmberg with 14 points. Asher Zachary scored 12 points, Jacob Miller added 10 points. Isaiah Heredia scored 10 points and handed out 7 assists.
Zachary grabbed 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Holmberg grabbed 5 rebounds. Jacob Miller had 3 rebounds and 5 assists.
Brycen McCurdy had 7 points and 3 rebounds. Gabe Edmond and Landon Martinez scored 2 points apiece and Nick Chance added 1 point. Jared Miller dished off 3 assists.
Canon Lazier had 14 points and Manny Myers 13 for Mulvane.
The Buhler girls (8-9) led 14-9 after one quarter, trailed at halftime 21-20 and were down 36-32 at the end of the third quarter. The Wildcat girls outscored the Crusaders 18-16 in the third quarter.
Kaia Edmond led the Buhler girls with 9 points. Tori Tustian scored 8 points, Ella Voss 6, Maddie Stallman 6, Harlie Terrell 6, Nyah Sewell 5, Kenzie Polk 3 and Addysn Keller 3.
Terrell grabbed 10 rebounds, Tustian 8, Stallman 7 and Sewell 5. Voss dished off 8 assists and blocked 3 shots. Edmond had 5 assists and 4 steals.
Brittani Peschel led the Mulvane girls with 20 points, Juliana Holman added 13 and Kylie Schwanke tallied 11.
Buhler hosts Wichita Collegiate on Tuesday and plays at McPherson on Friday.
