The Buhler High School boys swim team captured the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division III/IV championship Saturday at the Hutchinson YMCA pool.
Buhler scored 475 points to win the team title, followed by Winfield 414, McPherson 283, Wichita Collegiate 228, Towanda-Circle 150, Rose Hill 111, El Dorado 76, Clearwater 56, Wellington 32 and Andale 17.
Bennington and Wichita Independent did not score any team points.
Members of the Buhler boys swim team will compete in the Kansas Class 5-1A state championships Thursday through Saturday at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa.
The Class 6A state meet also takes place in Lenexa.
• 200 medley relay — The Buhler A team placed second with a time of 1:51.3.
• 200-yard free — Buhler’s Hudson DeWeese placed first with a time of 1:52.7. Teammates Ethan Maxfield (2:05.76), Ty Campbell (2:06.11) and Rayden Cunningham (2:30.08) placed 6-7-10. All four posted personal best times.
• 200 IM — Buhler’s Ryler Hartnett (2:17.99 PB), Wyatt Regehr (2:22.49 PB), Zachary Schweizer (3:00.4 PB) and Liam Ledeboer (4:35.91) placed 3-4-7-10.
• 50 free — Buhler’s Eli White (24.18 PB), Gabe Auxier (24.85 PB), Carson Roberts (25.83 PB) and Rayden Cunningham (26.82) placed 3-5-7-10.
• Diving — Buhler’s Zach Greenlee (345.45 points), Noah Fleischmann (298.25 points) and Sam Buggs (189.95 points) placed 1-2-4.
• 100 butterfly — Buhler’s Carson Roberts (1:11.33 PB), Ryder Regehr (1:19.32 PB), Landes Little (1:25.8 PB) and Liam Ledeboer (2:29.15 PB) placed 7-9-12-14.
• 100 free — Buhler’s Hudson DeWeese (50.85 PB), Gabe Auxier (54.6 PB), Ty Campbell (55.87 PB) and Zach Greenlee (55.87 PB) placed 2-4-5-6.
• 500 free — Buhler’s Ethan Maxfield (5:46.66 PB), Landes Little (7:07.57 PB), Jesiah Goetz (7:59.08 PB) and Noah Fleischman (8:03.43) placed 6-12-13-14.
• 200 free relay — The Buhler A team placed third with a time of 1:38.22.
• 100 backstroke — Buhler’s Eli White (1:01.25 PB), Zachary Schweizer (1:16.92 PB) and Sam Biggs (1:25.62 PB) placed 4-10-13.
100 breaststroke — Buhler’s Ryler Hartnett (1:10.2 PB) and Wyatt Regehr placed 4-7 (1:17.43 PB).
400 free relay — The Buhler A team placed third with a time of 3:37.32.
