The Buhler High School boys basketball team dominated the Towanda-Circle Thunderbirds 70-31 Friday night at the Jim Baker Fieldhouse in Buhler.
The Buhler varsity girls lost to the Thunderbirds 34-30.
Luke Holmberg led the Crusader boys with 17 points and Jacob Miller added 14 points. Asher Zachary and Brycen McCurry each scored 8 points, Isaiah Heredia 7 and Gabe Edmund 6.
Zachary grabbed 14 rebounds and Heredia dished off 10 assists. Buhler pulled down 39 rebounds and shot 57% from the floor.
Nyah Sewell, Kinley Combs and Harlie Terrell each scored 6 points for the Buhler girls. Jenna Lackey contributed 5 points.
Terrell grabbed 6 rebounds. Ella Voss scored 3 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, had 5 steals and 2 blocked shots. Maddie Stallman and Tori Tustian each scored 3 points. Tustian had 4 rebounds and Stallman 3.
The Buhler boys improved to 12-9 and the Buhler girls fell to 9-12.
Buhler hosts Winfield on Tuesday and plays at Augusta on Thursday.
