The Buhler High School boys and girls bowling teams both posted third-place showings in the Crusader Classic Friday at The Alley in Hutchinson.
The Buhler boys posted a 3001 score to finish behind Emporia (3394) and Newton (3215).
The Crusader girls posted a 2370 score to finish behind Emporia (2692) and Goddard Eisenhower (2477).
Buhler’s Stryker Avery placed seventh in the boys competition with a 617 series with a 225 as his best game.
Buhler placed three girls in the top 10: Cheyann Geesling, fifth, 539; Macy Miller, seventh, 509; and Aubrey Ewing, 10th, 455.
