— TABOR COLLEGE ATHLETICS RELEASE —
WICHITA, Kan. (TaborBluejays.com) – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) hosted their annual KCAC Football Virtual Media Day on Friday morning. During the media day, football coaches from each KCAC institution highlighted their expectations for their teams for the 2024 season.
Bluejay Football was picked to tie for third in the KCAC Bissell Division, with Avila and Saint Mary in the KCAC Coaches Poll, with each team receiving 13 points. Ottawa and Kansas Wesleyan were picked to tie for first with 23 points each, while Sterling was picked to finish 6th with five points.
The KCAC media picked Tabor to finish 4th, receiving 49 points. Kansas Wesleyan was picked atop the Media Poll with 93 points, while Ottawa was picked 2nd with 81 points and Avila was slotted 3rd with 54 points. Saint Mary came in the 5th spot, receiving 40 points, while Sterling was picked 6th with 19 points.
The Bluejays host McPherson in their home opener on August 31st at 6:00 PM at Joel H. Wiens Stadium.
