BENNINGTON – A strong start lifted Bennington to a 53-24 win Tuesday over the Trinity Catholic girls.
Khloe Dossett scored all of her game-high 18 points in the first half for the Bulldogs, who led 38-10 at halftime.
Brooklyn Clark added 15 points for Bennington.
Alyssa Guajardo led the Celtics with six points.
Trinity Catholic earned a boost Tuesday, as junior Alex Suter-Tan made her return, 12 months after tearing her ACL in a game against Berean Academy. She averaged almost 15 points a game last season, and had four straight 20-point games before the injury. In limited minutes, Suter-Tan scored four points, played well defensively and made some outstanding passes.
The Celtics fall to 1-18 and will host Moundridge on Thursday.
