WICHITA, Kan. ( –  Tulane scored four runs in the top of the first and never looked back, downing Wichita State 13-8 on Friday night at Eck Stadium.

Tulane starter Luc Fladda (2-3) picked up the win, allowing 10 hits and six runs over 5.1 innings. Carter Benbrook and Jonah Wachter combined to retire the final six batters of the game out of the Green Wave bullpen.
