Balanced Scoring Leads Moundridge Girls to Win Over Trinity Catholic

Eleven players scored for the Moundridge girls on Thursday, led by  Mackie Conkling’s 13 points, and the Wildcats won their 19th game of the season by beating Trinity Catholic 63-22 in Hutchinson.

Cammi Unruh added 11 points, all in the first half, as the Wildcats raced to a 20-2 lead after one quarter. The lead ballooned to 39-12 by halftime, and the Wildcats led 56-15 after three, inducing the running clock for the fourth quarter.

Brecken Dowsey led Trinity Catholic with eight points, and Eilley Cost added six.

The Celtics fall to 1-19 and will return home Friday to take on Inman.
