AVCTL I All-League Honors Announced; Hutch High’s Jackson Anderson Named Defensive Player of the Year

The Hutchinson High School Salthawk football team, which posted a 7-3 record in 2025, placed several players on the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division I football team.

The team was released on Monday.

Salthawk linebacker Jackson Anderson, a 6-foot-195-pound senior, was named the AVCTL I Defensive Player of the Year and made the First Team Defense as did sophomore defensive back Oaken Williams.

Hutchinson offensive lineman Taylor Rieman was named to the First Team Offense.

Maize High School’s Gary Guzman was named AVCTL I Coach of the Year.

Hutchinson first team offense: Taylor Rieman OL.

Hutchinson second team offense: Kylan Mendoza OL.

Hutchinson honorable mention offense: Robert Hunter QB, Jeremiah Gaitho-Karanu RB, Karmelo Green RB, Larry Jeremiah WR, Lamar Govain WR, D’Angelo Gray WR, Bailey Bishop OL.

Hutchinson first team defense: Jackson Anderson LB, Oaken Williams DB.

Hutchinson second team defense: Brodie McCuan LB.

Hutchinson honorable mention defense: Ga’Vaugh Embers DL, Davin Morgan DB, Kam Wilson DB, Tramel Walker DB, Camrynn Harris DB.
