SALINA, Kan. – Much is in store Saturday, June 21 in Salina for the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA) All-Star Games, held at Mabee Arena at Kansas Wesleyan University. The event features lots of recognition from the 2024-25 season as well as Girls and Boys All-Star games.
Players will arrive earlier in the day, but festivities will begin not long before the Girls All-Star game, which is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The Girls players will be announced prior to their game, then the Miss Kansas Basketball winner will be recognized.
At halftime of the Girls Basketball game, the State Champion Girls and Boys coaches will be recognized and will receive their rings. Then there will be four undefeated girls basketball teams, two from 2014 and two from 2015, who will be recognized for entering the KBCA Hall of Fame.
Following the Girls game, the Boys teams will warm up and get ready for their game, which is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Following player introductions, the Mr. Kansas Basketball winner will be recognized.
During halftime, there will be six undefeated boys teams honored into the Hall of Fame, four from 2014 and two from 2015. Special Award winners will be recognized too, including Media of the Year award recipients, Don Jones Courage Award winners, the Clint Hill Service award winner, scholarship winners, and KBCA Academic All-State honorees.
