CUNNINGHAM, Kan. — Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce Cunningham High School senior Skyler Thimesch as this week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Hutchinson Community College.
The week – Thimesch had his best game of the season Friday, as Cunningham beat Tescott 44-0 in the Six-man state semifinals. Thimesch had a season-high 20 carries for a season-high 190 yards and three touchdowns. He also completed a pass for 37 yards. Defensively, Thimesch recorded 11 tackles.
The season – Thimesch, a senior, has rushed the ball 94 times for 704 yards and 16 touchdowns, and he has caught four passes for 39 yards. Defensively, Thimesch has recorded 62 tackles, four quarterback sacks.
