MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce Moundrige High School senior Paul Grill as this week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Hutchinson Community College!
The week– Grill had a massive night in helping Moundridge upset Inman in the second round of the Class 1A playoffs, 22-14. Grill rushed for 194 carries on 21 carries and scored a second-half touchdown. On defense, Grill was all over the place, finishing with eight tackles.
The season – Grill, a senior, has had a strong season for the 8-2 Wildcats, who will travel to Smith Center on Friday in the quarterfinals. He has rushed for 1,015 yards on 109 carries, scoring nine touchdowns. On defense, Grill has amassed 93 tackles, six quarterback sacks, 13 tackles for a loss, one interception and one fumble recovery.
