TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas Volleyball Association is pleased to announce their 2025 All Star Squads. The annual All Star match will be held this year on June 7, 2025 at Washburn Rural High School. Match time will be 5:00 p.m. The players selected are first nominated by their high school coaches (who must be KVA members), and then recommended by committee to fill the squads. Based on achievements, positions, classifications, collegiate plans and availability the squads are determined and divided into two teams which should provide for a very competitive match.
From the Ad Astra Radio areas, three players and one coach have been selected to participate in the event. From the 3A State Champion Halstead Dragons, Daliana Schutte will play on the Blue Team and her mom and Halstead coach Diana Schutte will be the head coach for the Blue as well. Also on the Blue roster from the area is Kennedy Behnke of Ellinwood. Smoky Valley’s Katja Blanchat was selected to play for the Red Team. A full look at this year’s participants can be found below.
