Area Players Represented on Eight-Man II District 5 Football Team

Hutchinson Central Christian, Pretty Prairie and Fairfield placed players on the 2025 Eight-Man II District 5 All-District Team.

The team was released on Wednesday and posted online.

Hutchinson Central Christian dominates the First Team offense with five players: Junior quarterback Luke Eigsti, senior running back Piercen Huff, junior receiver Cal Barnett and junior offensive linemen Karson Sullivan and Brayden Wallace.

Also making the First Team offense were Pretty Prairie junior receiver Linus Werner, Fairfield senior lineman Chase Combs and Attica/Argonia sophomore receiver Jack Alexander.

The First Team Defense features four Central Christian players: senior defensive lineman Konnor Sullivan, junior linebacker Cael Kooiman plus Eigsti and Huff at defensive back.

Fairfield was represented on the First Team Defense by Combs on the line and senior Lukas Schwab at linebacker. Also making the First Team Defense were Attica/Argonia’s junior lineman Spencer Beck and senior Carson Vineyard at defensive back.

Huff, Eigsti and Vineyard were named First Team Special Teams performers as returner, punter and returner/punter.

The Second Team Offense featured Central Christian junior lineman Trey Miller, Fairfield senior quarterback Brodie Snodgrass, Fairfield’s Schwab at offensive line, Attica/Argonia’s Vineyard at running back and Norwich senior offensive lineman Reid Brewster.

Hutchinson Central Christian’s Wallace and Barnett made the Second Team defense at lineman and defensive back. Fairfield seniors Shawn Nisly and Gage Brown made Second Team on the line and at defensive back.

Norwich’s Brewster and sophomore Easton Schroeder were Second Team defenders on the line and at linebacker. Attica/Argonia junior Maddex Hemberger was Second Team linebacker.

Second Team Special Teams performers were Pretty Prairie’s Werner at returner, Fairfield’s Brown as punter and Norwich junior Trevor Rice as kicker/returner.

Hutchinson Central Christian’s Karson Sullivan was named Honorable Mention linebacker. Also making Honorable Mention were Pretty Prairie’s Werner at defensive back and junior offensive lineman Rylan Reyes.

Three Attica/Argonia players were named Honorable Mention: Freshman defensive lineman Jordy Torres-Roman, Hemberger at quarterback and Beck on the offensive line.
