Buhler’s Anika Paulsrud, Macy Miller, Harlie Terrell and Paityn Weber competed on Day 2 of the 4A girls state golf championship on Tuesday.
The 4A girls state tournament took place at the Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson.
Paulsrud placed 14th with a two-day score of of 28-over-par 170 (88-82), followed by Miller in 16th place with a 171 (85-86), Terrell 43rd, 195 (97-98) and Weber, 50th, 199 (98-101).
Gabriella Gillespie and Addison Specht competed on Day 1 on Monday. But did not qualify for Day 2. Gillespie fired a 31-over-par 102 and Specht shot a 32-over-par 103.
Wamego won the Kansas Class 4A state title with a 658 score (336-322), followed by Wellington 698 (357-341), McPherson 701 (359-342), Topeka Hayden 708 (361-347), Baldwin 708 (368-342) and Augusta 721 (364-357).
McPherson’s Brodie Kuhn tied for third place with a 161 score (81-80), Andi Buschbom, 17th, 172 (92-80), Lleyton Kuhn, 35th, 186 (92-94); Pera Bauer, tied for 38th 190 (102-88), Amelia Moody, tied for 38th, 180 (94-96); and Addison French, 52nd, 224 (108-116).
Wamego’s Addison Douglass captured 4A individual medalist honors with a 145 score (77-68), followed by Concordia’s Mya Niehues, who placed second with a 152 score (78-74).
Kapaun Mount Carmel captured the Kansas Class 5A girls state tournament Tuesday at the Emporia Golf Course with a 637 score (321-316).
Andover placed second, 681 (322-349); Lenexa-St. James, 688 (348-340); Wichita Bishop Carroll, 722 (363-359); Topeka Seaman, 724 (354-370); and Blue Valley Southwest, 724 (363-361).
Andover’s Regan Dusenberry won the 5A individual state title with a 128 score (68-60).
