Andale Advances to Regionals with 69-0 Victory Over Chapman

ANDALE, Kan. — The Andale Indians’ quest to go back-to-back in Class 3A began with a 69-0 victory over Chapman on Thursday. 

Andale scored 32 points in the first quarter with two touchdown passes thrown by Sam Harp, one to Jack Horsch for 34 yards and the other to Lane Parthamer for 50 yards. Jrayton Dansel added an 8-yard touchdown run, and Harp added a 4-yard run. 

Horsch scored his second touchdown of the game with a 9-yard run. Noah Stanley added a pair of touchdowns, a 14-yard run and a 24-yard touchdown pass from Brayden Spexarth.

The game was tested with a running clock in the second half, with two scores by the Indians. Senior offensive lineman Nelson Ealey scored from two yards with 3:45 left in the third quarter. Colt Lane scored a 5-yard touchdown run with 1:10 remaining. 

Andale honored its 23-member senior class before the game. Andale (9-0) extended its winning streak to 22 and its home winning streak to 86 and will host a regional game next Friday against either Scott City or Clay Center.
