WICHITA, Kan. – Milan Bucek of Bethel College and Ana Alvarez of Sterling College have earned the KCAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 13-19 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Milan Bucek – Bethel College

Bucek beat the No. 11 singles player in the region in Chavez in two straight. He continues his hot streak to begin the season as he is yet to lose in singles or doubles. This is the fourth time this year that Bucek has been named the KCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week.

Alvarez was a bright spot in two matches this week for the Warriors. She won both of her singles and doubles matches, scoring four points for Sterling in two matches.
