Main Street Hops for TECH
is back Friday night in Downtown Hutchinson. From 6 to 9, choose 15 stops from among 20 downtown venues to sample a variety of regional beers and local hors d ‘oeuvres. Tickets are $50 in advance. Must be 21 to participate.

Reno County Farmers Market
returns Saturday morning from 7:30 to 12:30 to the Farmers Market Pavilion, Second and Washington in Hutchinson. Shop local farm fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and more.

 
Saturday’s 60

annual
Hutchinson Art Fair
hosted by the Hutchinson Art Center takes place from 9 to 4 in the Sunflower South Building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The fair will include live music, food trucks, kids swag bags, and over 30 artist booths.

 
Head out to Dillon Nature Center for the annual
Nature Therapy Day
on Saturday from 7:30 to noon. See, feel, hear, and taste nature. The come-and-go event features sunrise yoga, a mental wellness discussion, kids’ yoga, and other activity choices. Food and beverages will also be available.  
 
Hutchinson’s SW Bricktown Neighborhood hosts a
Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Saturday at Memorial Hall and George Pyle Park. Come out for activities starting at noon, including a car show, children’s games, food trucks, Prairie Championship Wrestling, and live music.

McPherson Gem and Mineral Club’s 28

annual Sale
happens this weekend at the McPherson 4-H building, 701 W. Woodside. Check out educational talks and vendors. Open Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5:30 and Sunday from 10:30 to 3.

Car & Motoring Festival
this weekend in McPherson. A kick-off cruise-in takes place Friday evening from 5:30 to 8:30. Head downtown to show off your pride and joy and admire other sweet rides. Saturday’s activities on the McPherson College campus start at 9 a.m. Run by the Auto Restoration Students, it’s the best car show you’ll ever attend.

Pots N Pedals Festival
happens Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Head downtown for flowerpot painting and a sidewalk chalk contest – there’ll be both plant and book sales and the M&C Pedal Power Pull. The Kids Cove Donut Dash 5K run/walk starts at 7:30 a.m. at Sterling Lake and look for the yellow bus on the corner of Main and Broadway at 10 for a historic homes tour.
