Ronald Allen “Ron” Miller, 64, died September 15, 2026, surrounded by his family in Hutchinson. He was born October 6, 1961, in Hutchinson to Ruth Anne (Gross) Miller.
Ron attended Hutchinson High School. He worked as a crew lead in the water maintenance department for the City of Hutchinson. Ron enjoyed woodworking, working on concrete projects, and was an avid collector of things.
He is survived by: his life partner of over 40 years, Lori Carr, of Hutchinson; daughters, Carley Miller, Alexandra “Alex” (Tanner Schulze) Miller, both of Wichita, Breanna Miller of Hutchinson; grandson, Solomon Hernandez of Wichita; brother, Rick Miller; sister, Penny Williams, both of Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother and twin sister, Robin Miller.
In respect of Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
