The letter reads: Please be advised, the City of McPherson has been made aware of an unauthorized email account being used to impersonate Mayor Jim Loving.
The City would like to remind residents that official correspondence from City officials and staff will come from official City email addresses ending with mcpcity.com. Residents are encouraged to verify the sender of any email appearing to come from the Mayor or the City.
If you receive a message that appears questionable or does not originate from City email address, please contact the Municipal Center directly at 620-245-2535 to verify its authenticity.
