David Lyle HallChanute, KS

David Lyle Hall, 74 of Iola, Kansas passed away at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
David was born the only child of Kenneth and Florence Hall on December 2, 1951 in Topeka, Kansas. David graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1967. David married Catherine Shafer on April 15, 2010 in Chanute, Kansas. David worked as a truck driver for Kelly Maclasky Oilfield Services for 40 plus years. David loved to travel, deer hunt, and target shoot. He also loved to play the guitar and listen to the Rolling Stones. David was a car enthusiast; he owned a 1967 and 1968 GTO and 1971 Firebird.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
David’s memory will carry on with his wife, Catherine, children, Kenneth Hall of Salina, and Lisa (Chuck) Lawrence of Junction City, stepchildren, Drew Sirota, Ryan Stiffler, and Justin Stiffler, and 3 grandchildren.
Cremation will take place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
