Randy Dean "Moody" Gile, 67, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026
Moody was born on November 13, 1958, in Wichita, KS, to Paul and Carolyn Gile.
Moody had a lifelong passion for music; whether performing on stage or simply sharing a song with family and friends, music was at the heart of who he was. His talent and love for playing in bands brought joy to countless people throughout his life.
Above all, Moody was a devoted family man. His greatest pride was the love he shared with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He believed that family is built not only by blood but by the love, loyalty, and commitment we show one another. He opened his heart to those around him, stepping into others' lives with unconditional love. Randy became the person they needed, giving everything he had without hesitation.
The bands Moody played with were more than musical groups; they were a brotherhood. Through his music, generosity, and genuine spirit, he touched countless lives and inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him. If Moody was part of your life, you were family. His memory will live on through the music he loved and the many lives he forever changed.
