It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chato Davidoff, who passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the age of 51.

He was born on May 17, 1975, in Salida, CO, to Sandra and Rick Davidoff. Throughout his life, Chato was known for his kindness, compassion, and dedication to family and friends. Chato enjoyed cooking, anything horror, fishing, camping, music, Broncos football, OU girls softball, and he made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Armstrong; daughters, Caylee Davidoff, Kendyl Davidoff; brother, Jake Davidoff; sister, Stephanie Crowe; father, Rick Davidoff; and many other loving family members and friends.

Chato was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Davidoff; aunt, Gail Edwards; grandfathers, David Davidoff and Frank Showalter; and grandmother, Josephine Showalter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. August 6, 2026, at Country Kitchen at Legend of Hutchinson, 2416 Brentwood St., Hutchinson, KS 67502. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Chato’s life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chato Davidoff Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. To benefit Chato Davidoff Memorial Fund, please make check payable to Elliott Mortuary.

Chato will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, generosity, and the memories he shared with those around them.
