Glen Dean Combs, 80, of LeRoy, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Pittsburg, KS.
He was born April 11, 1946, at Burlington, KS, the only child of Carl Wesley and Blanche Leona (Squires) Combs.
He and Carolyn Jo Applegate were married on July 3, 1965, and were later divorced after 23 years of marriage. On March 3, 1989, he and Wanda Sue Ayers were married. She preceded him in death on August 28, 2018.
He graduated from Burlington High School in 1964 and went on to work as a mechanic for Caldwell Implement in Burlington. He then farmed for a time before being employed by Sutherland Farm Equipment in LeRoy. He had also worked at Mid America Machine in LeRoy for several years. In his leisure time he enjoyed auctions, flea markets, and helping with he and Wanda’s antique store, New to You, in LeRoy.
He is survived by his three children, Victoria Vaughn (Ernie), Columbus, KS, Brian Combs (Michelle), Scammon, KS, and Glenda Roberts, Harrison, AR; six grandchildren, Dustin Crain (Allie), Nicolle Johnson (Sam), Danelle Knopp (Griffin), Gabby Eck (Colt), Bethany Carter (TJ), and Lucas Westervelt (Morgan); 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Cremation is planned and no services are scheduled.
