Wallace Shelton Ala, 71, passed away at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Wallace was born on August 12, 1954 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Wallace worked at Walmart in Albuquerque, New Mexico for twenty plus years before retiring. Wallace loved to tinker with motors. He would tear them down completely then put them back together. Wallace was very optimistic; he always had a smile on his face and always looked to the brighter side of any difficult situation life threw at him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Melissa.
Wallace is survived by his daughter, Amber Ryan and husband, Robert of Chanute, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Cremation will take place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home and no services are scheduled at his time.
